Maria Jaimes, M.D.
Dr. Jaimes joined our company since its inception in 2015 as a member of the R&D team that developed our Aurora system and provided scientific support to Aurora early adopter sites when the Aurora system launched in 2017. Since then, Maria has established and grown the application specialists team to over 40 associates worldwide.
She has served as our VP of Applications since 2021. As VP of Applications, she oversees a variety of R&D-related functions and leads our global Cytek Technical Applications Support team. Prior to Cytek, Maria held senior R&D roles at Becton Dickinson, where she worked in different aspects of quality assurance and standardization of flow cytometry assays.
She completed her postdoctoral training at Stanford University in the department of Microbiology and Immunology.
